How it works
A living map
The front line moves across the world map day by day, from the border to Berlin.
48 months
Every month holds bitter and joyful moments, acts of courage and discoveries.
Three languages
Russian, Persian and English: a history understood in many countries.
We remember everyone
Wall of Memory
The faces and stories of those who fought at the front, worked on the home front, and lived through siege and occupation. As in the Immortal Regiment, we carry their portraits on into the future. Tell us about your hero, and they will take their place here.
About the project
“1418 Days” is an educational project for children, teenagers and young people. It tells the story of the Great Patriotic War in simple language, without graphic detail but honestly: both the grief and the courage.
